He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Higgins and Irene Higgins (Segien); and his wife Jean Higgins (Yammine). He is survived by: his children, Adele M. McCarthy, Richard A. Brunelle, Jr., Michael J. Brunelle (Judy) and Patricia Higgins; his grandchildren, Shawn McCarthy (Sera), Kevin McCarthy (Jennifer), Daniel McCarthy (Therese), Jessica McCannon, Michael Brunelle, Jr. (Rafaela) and Stephanie Denault (Patrick); and his siblings, Lorraine Higgins and George Higgins. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.
