Gene Edward Barsaleau Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Edward Barsaleau (Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on June 13, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Glenn; his former wife Susan Greene; his mother-in-law Shirley Poirier; and his niece Samantha Poirier. He is survived by: his father Eugene Barsaleau; his wife Andrea Poirier; his mother Augusta "Gussie" Barsaleau (Possocco); his brother Geoff; his father-in-law John Poirier; his extended family, Suzanne, Kyle, John, Michael and Melissa; and his little buddy George. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 5½ great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the New England Funeral & Cremation Center (25 Mill St, Springfield, MA 01108).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any pet recue of your choosing.
