Geneva leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Geneva’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Geneva will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mendenhall Sr. and Elizabeth Mendenhall (Turley); her husband Raymond Hall; and her siblings, Latimore C. Mendenhall, Berneatha Looper and Nora Drummonds.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia J. Hall of Springfield; her stepdaughter Meredith P. Hall of North Carolina; and her brother John R. Mendenhall, Jr. of Springfield. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and friends.
A wake will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mt Calvary Baptist Church (17 John St, Springfield, MA 01104). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
