With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Genevia Judy Peters (Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on April 12, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Edward Gibbs. She is survived by: her husband Walter H. Peters; her children, Walter H. Peters Jr. (Naomi) of Philadelphia, Marcia Peters, Holley Peters of Spfld and Judy Peters of Deerfield; and her siblings, J. T. Gibbs, Perry Gibbs, Carl Gibbs, Jean Dixon, Georgia Patterson, Minnie Griffin and Betty Boykin. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren.

Memorial donations in Genevia's memory may be made Alzheimer's Association of Massachusetts 264 Cottage St. Springfield MA 01104-3274.
