He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Frances (Mayberry). He is survived by: his wife Marlene Ekmalian; his sons, Keith Ekmalian of Springfield and Joseph Ekmalian (Kathleen) of Longmeadow; his grandsons, Vincent, Nicholas, Anthony and Paul; and his sibling's children, Eric Arena, Lisa and Joanne Cerrone. He is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services (15 Ludlow Ave, Springfield, MA 01151). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Armenian Church (2427 Wilbraham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129).
In lieu of flowers, it is the wish of George's family that donations be made to the Veterans' Home (https://www.mass.gov), 110 Cherry Street, Holyoke, MA 01040 or to St. Mark's Armenian Church, 2427 Wilbraham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129.
