It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerard A. Normand of Springfield, Massachusetts, born in Salem, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Normand and Bernadette Normand (Grenier); his son Denis Normand; and his brother Raymond Normand. He is survived by: his wife Constance Normand (Simard); his children, David Normand (Caryn), Celeste Galizioli (Marco), Diane Twining (Richard) and Donna Briggs (George); and his siblings, John Normand (Reanne, Sr.), Marguerite Normand and Lena Castonguay. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Autism Speaks, CHD Awareness, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
