He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincenzo Botta and Anna Botta (Moccia); his wife Annunziata "Nancy" Botta (D'Amato); his sister Leonilde "Lea" DiMaio; his brother-in-law Giacinto "Gino" Santaniello; and his nephew Armando Botta.
He is survived by: his children, Anna Horrigan (John) of East Longmeadow, Vincenzo Botta of Springfield, Leona Gebo (Ray) of Springfield and Geremia Botta, Jr. (Lisa) of Ludlow; his grandchildren, Alec Horrigan (Stephanie), Ashley, Andrew Horrigan, Enzo and Ella Botta; and his siblings, Matilda "Clorinda" Santaniello of Springfield, Teresa Scala (Gerardo) of Agawam, Maria Hanke (Robert) of Agawam and Armando Botta (Kathleen) of Agawam. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
His family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
