She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred H. O'Connell (Marshall) and Thomas F. O'Connell; her brother Thomas R. O'Connell; and her husband Frank S. Afflitto, Jr.. She is also survived by three sons, twelve grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
