He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luis Valentin and Juanita Valintin; his wife Myriam Valentin; his children, Jose Gualberto Valentin, Delia Arroyo, Michelle Valentin and Tiffany Valentin; and his brother Angel Luis Valentin. He was also cherished by Thirteen Grandchildren, Six Great Grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
