He is survived by: his wife Annie J. Collins; his son Darrell E. Collins; his daughter-in-law Robyn Collins; his grandchildren, Megan L. Collins Williamson (Nicholas Williamson), Justin R. Collins and Emily A. Collins; and his siblings, Ella Rene Hardye and Mack Collins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Congregational Church (45 Hancock St, Springfield, MA 01109). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
