He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Shunk and Frances Shunk (Deichelman). He is survived by: his wife June; and his children, Paul Schunk (Susan) of Derry, NH, Alan Archer (Kristie) of Pelham, NH, Mark Archer (Mary Jane Eustace) of Springfield, MA and Susan DiDonoto (Greg) of Bristol, CT. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
