It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L. Leone Sr. (Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on December 11, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emileo Leone and Angelina C. McCormick (Leone); and his brothers, Ronald and Emileo Leone. He is survived by: his wife Judy M. Leone (Shapiro) of Belchertown; his sons, Steven Leone (Andrea) of Plymouth and James Leone, Jr. (Maggie) of East Longmeadow; his grandchildren, Heather Leone, James Leone, III, Anthony Leone (Gianna Stanton), Amanda Leone, Joshua Leone, Brittany Thomas (Hunter Chapdelaine) and Chris Thomas; his great grandchild Leo Chapdelaine; his pet Lilly; and his sisters-in-law, Angelina Leone and MaryJane Leone. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
