He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stewart McLellan Sr. and Eva Grace Stoddard of Springfield; his stepfather Jerome Hallett; his brother Jerome Hallett Jr.; and his akitas, Kuma and Kiko.
He is survived by: his son Timothy S. McLellan (Karen Ashe McLellan); his grandchildren, Grace E. McLellan and Logan C. McLellan of Chicopee; his daughter Tamara L. McLellan McNamara (Robert J. McNamara); his grandson Tate McLellan Boland; and his brother Jonathan Hallett (Beth) of Florida.
