He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Carmen Gloria Negron, Ramona Matos and Amalio Matos. He is survived by: his parents, Carmen Migdalia Matos and Leonardo Matos; his grandfather Eugenio Negron; his siblings, Eugene Matos, Leonardo Matos, Melisa Cruz, Leilani Matos and Steven Matos; and his pet Koda. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
