She was predeceased by: her father Joseph K. Pouliot; and her brother Paul Pouliot. She is survived by: her husband Charles D. Staton of Springfield; her children, Noelle Hurley (Micheal) of Sanford, ME, Amanda Staton of Worcester, Thomas Sliney (Heather) of Somers, CT and Christopher Staton of Louisville, KY; her brothers, Steven Pouliot (Susan) of Easthampton and Donald Pouliot (Donna); her grandchildren, Logan, Christopher, Alex and Leslie; and her great grandchild Fraya.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joanne's name to Baystate Hospice, 30 Capital Drive, Suite A, West Springfield, MA. 01089.
