He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Howard and Myrtle C. Howard (Gregory); and his wife Cecelia. He is survived by: his children, Sharlene Howard, Richard Pohner, Gregory, Paige Howard and John P. Howard, Jr.; his siblings, Robert Howard and Mary Elizabeth Roberge; his siblings-in-law, Walter McCormick, Paula Howard and Virginia Hansel; his grandchildren, Shivonne, Patrick, Grady, Sydney, Jocelyn, Owen, Samantha, Adison and Carlin; and his great grandchildren, Autumn, Jameson, Benjamin, Meadow and Ellis.
The military honors will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
