We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2025, at the age of 88, John P. Valois Sr. (Springfield, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Joseph and Blanche Marie Valois (Gagnon). He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Valois (Burns); his sons, John P. Valois Jr. (Lee) of Chicopee and Bill Valois of East Longmeadow; and his grandchildren, Lynne Valois, William Valois, Anthony Montone and Tyler Valois.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Acres (21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (421 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129).
