He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene and Mary Bottoni Sr. (Smith); his son Christopher Goodrow; his grandson Angelo DiCastro; and his brothers, Peter Beatty and Gene Bottoni Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Clayton Goodrow, Jennifer Bottoni, Jacqueline Bottoni and Jon Bottoni Jr. Blessed; his grandchildren, Gina DiCastro, Hailey Suarez (Goodrow), Olivia Goodrow, Nathaniel Goodrow, Emilie Goodrow, Callie Goodrow and Brandon Goodrow; and his sister Mary Goldschmidt (Beatty). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
