He was predeceased by : his parents, Patrick C. O'Connor Sr. and Mary Ellen O'Connor (Fenton); his brother Dennis O'Connor; and his sister-in-law Christine O'Connor. He is survived by : his wife Margaret "Maggie" O'Connor (Fernandes); his children, Brian P. O'Connor (Shantelle) of Wilbraham, Timothy K. O'Connor (Ally) of Springfield and Kelsey A. O'Connor of Springfield; his grandchildren, Ava, Nora, Liam and Cali O'Connor; and his siblings, Maureen Brown (George) of Connecticut, Patrick O'Connor (Diane) of Springfield, Thomas O'Connor of Florida, Kathleen O'Connor of Belchertown and Daniel O'Connor of Ludlow. He is also survived by his many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phaneuf Springfield Chapels (7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107). The military honors was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).

Memorial donations may be made in Kevin's memory to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
