With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois (Tatro) T Carter of Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 4, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis M. Tatro and Agnes Tatro (Fleming); and her sisters, Eleanor DuBois, Alice Flynn and Carol Vumbaco.
She is survived by: her husband Norbert A. Carter; her children, Richard M. Carter (Sherry) of Agawam, Susan M. Egan (John) of Ludlow and Michael L. Carter (Donna) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Marianne T. D'Antonio (Brandon) of Easthampton, Laura J. VanDeusen (Jason) of West Springfield, Sean R. Egan of Ludlow and Kayla M. Egan of Ludlow; and her great grandchildren, Sofia D'Antonio, Emma D'Antonio, George VanDeusen and Thaddeus VanDeusen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
