He is survived by: his wife Carmen Magras; his children, Ja'Net Smith (Christian), Judith Bryan (Laurence), Nestor Magras, Walt Magras, Raul Magras, Clynton Barzey (Margaret) and Virdin Barzey (Cathy); his siblings, Ina Brown (Otto), Dariel Ruiz (Ruben), Rudolph Scarbriel (Linda) and Dean Scarbriel; and his grandchildren, Nestor II, Anwar, Rhonda, Jade, Jolie, Solomar, Lluvia, Om-Jeru, Sigui, Raul, Carlos, Nicole, Caiden and Asia. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
A wake was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the New England Funeral & Cremation Center (25 Mill St, Springfield, MA 01108). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
