She is survived by: her husband Samuel Thomas King, Jr.; her children, Abraham Lincoln Gandy, Jr., Sherry Ann Gandy-Watt, Terry Marie Gandy-Hall (Emory Hall II), Darrin Thomas Gandy and Betty Josette Gandy-Tobin; her stepdaughter Felicia Lynette King Smith (Steffen Jerome Smith); and her grandchildren, Adrion Leonard Watt, Java Rasheem Watt, Jermaine Kasseen Watt, Toriono Marcel Gandy, Emory Julian Hall, III, Anita Marie Hall, Sydney Rashea Gandy, Alia Andrea Tobin, Tajuddin Tariq Thomas Tobin, Jibrell Abdur-Rahman Tobin, Aqeel Ibn-Khalid Shareef, Jennah Marion Strong, Jalen Steffen Smith, Justin Patrick Smith and Jamison Thomas Smith. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
