Marion T. Tatro Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion T. Tatro of Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James J. Fitzgerald and Ellen Fitzgerald (O'Shea); her husband Joseph D. Tatro; and her children, J. Daniel Tatro and Maureen Shapiro.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Tatro, Ellen Fongemie (Allen), Christine Shea (John) and Joanne Garvey (Timothy); and her children-in-law, Susan Tatro and Mark Shapiro.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to Sandwiches for the Homeless Ministry in care of Deacon Bill Toller, Holy Cross Rectory, 221 Plumtree Road, Springfield, MA, 01118.
