We are sad to announce that, on March 29, 2026, at the age of 80, Mary Jane A. Whitehead (Springfield, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Samoilo and Jean Samoilo (Tomei); her husband Richard J. Whitehead, Sr.; her daughter Debra Ann Navarro Whitehead; and her brother Alexander Samoilo.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard J. Whitehead, Jr. (Suzanne) of Southington, CT and Brian Whitehead (Alyssa DeGray) of West Springfield; and her grandchildren, Joshua Navarro, Tyler DeGray, Connor and Ryan Whitehead.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
