It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. Del Viscio (Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe and Maria Del Viscio (Mazzarino); his wife Marjorie Del Viscio (Spera); his son Anthony Del Viscio; and his siblings, Nancy, Frances Del Viscio, Jennie Chenevert, Antonietta Beaudry and Joseph Del Viscio.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael A. Del Viscio (Vivian) and Matthew Del Viscio (Gloria); his grandchildren, Thomas, Niko and Joanna Del Viscio; and his brother Richard Del Viscio (Cheryl).
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Tazzini Funeral & Cremation Services (22 Locust St, Springfield, MA 01108). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (123 William St, Springfield, MA 01105).
