Though Michael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite D. McGuigan (Berthiaume) and John O. McGuigan; and his sister Diane Larkin. He is survived by: his son Patrick McGuigan (Kimberly) of Granby, CT; his stepmother Janet McGuigan of East Harwich, MA; his brothers, Daniel McGuigan (Elizabeth) of Bluffton, SC and Thomas McGuigan (Pamela) of Guilford, CT; and his half-siblings, Sean McGuigan (Shu-Hwa Hsu) of Allentown, PA and Kathleen McGuigan (Samir Batla) of Franklin, MA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Chapel of the Acres (21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the St. Michael's Cemetery (1601 State St, Springfield, MA 01109).
