Ned O. Duncan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ned O. Duncan in Springfield, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Ned farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ned is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Duncan Jr. and Ruth Duncan (Gibson); and his siblings, Ruthenia Jones and Harold Mack Duncan. He is survived by: his wife Sonja Duncan (Spencer); his children, Phineas Graham, Maurice Spencer, Dequindre Duncan, Shannon Duncan and Sonja Murray; and his brother Johnny Duncan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Acres (21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
