She was predeceased by: her brother Julio; and her parents, Virginia Cruz and Cecilio Cruz. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Pepin, Rosamaria Reich and Marcos Santiago; her grandchildren, Francisca, Tristan, Kal-El Pepin, Jade Macias, Gianmarco and Mariano Santiago; her siblings, Lourdes, Rosa, Mary, Wilma, Irma, Josefa and Nestor; and her close friend Eubilda Colon. She is also survived by sister, and many other family members and friends.
The family asks that a donation be made to the Massachusetts ME/CFS & FM Association in lieu of flowers.
