He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell L. Daniel Sr. and Joyce Harris; his daughter Catherine Agnes Hurley; and his siblings, Ronnie, Catherine, Rachel Martin, Bertha McLeod and Corinne Fairley.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Daniel (Flynn) of Springfield; his son Richard Goodyear (Holly) of Middleburg, Florida; his sister Sharon Smith of Virginia; his sisters-in-law, Pauline Flynn (Robert Dodds) of Duxbury, Regina Flynn and Marie Poulin of Weymouth; and his pet Milo. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center (1858 Allen St, Springfield, MA 01118).
