She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Dixon and Florence Dixon (Mead); her siblings, Gunther Watson and Beatrice Needham; her daughter Alexandria; her granddaughter Candace; and her son Presley.
She is survived by: her husband Alexander Mohammed; and her children, Baldwin Tyndale, Michelle, Beulah (Walter), Lola (Tavares), Melissa (Joseph), Deanna and Lakison McLean. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
She fundraised to make sure the St. Jude's Children's Hospital received a donation on behalf of her family every month, and after her daughter's passing in 2001, she started the Alexandria Olivia White Scholarship Fund.
