He is survived by: his significant other Cynthia Bushy of Springfield; his son Douglas Meacham of Suffield, Connecticut; his sister Nancy Syrett of Hampden, Massachusetts; his nephew Tristan Syrett of Hampden; and his great-niece Sydney Scahill.
