She was predeceased by : her parents, Jonas Williams and Gladys Williams (Dunbar); her husband Lee C. Pegram; her son Stephen C. Pegram; her siblings, Gloria A. Gibbons and Jonas Williams; and her siblings-in-law, Larry and Kazuko.

She is survived by : her friend Pearlie Mae; her children, Deloris Spinks (Jesse), Denise Stewart, George Williams (Gail), Sean Pegram (Shara) and Michael Coleman (Tracey); her grandchildren, Danielle Williams, Taylor Pinkney, Tre, Anthony Williams, Avery Pegram, Emerson Pegram, Tracey Paige, Tracy Clay and Jared Holzman; her great grandchildren, Nahshon Williams, Kennedy Williams-Starks, Devron Anderson, Raynesha and Travon Clay; her brothers, John Williams of Springfield, James Moore (Dawn) of Springfield and Judge Bryant of Bronx, NY; her siblings-in-law, Anthony, Eric, Reggie Pegram (Mildred) and Juanita Fairchild; and her cousins, Kearun Smith and Anthony Smith.
