She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles L. Hopkins Sr. and Mary Jane Hopkins (Kiley); her former husband Thomas W. O'Brien; and her siblings, Charles L. Hopkins Jr. (Violet), George L. Hopkins (Marcella) and Charlotte F. Esche-Morneau (Donald Morneau).
She is survived by: her children, Patricia M. LaCapra of East Longmeadow and Thomas W. O'Brien Jr. (Cindy) of Springfield; her granddaughter Christina Vargas (Christopher) of Wading River; and her great grandchildren, Ava Vargas, Christopher John Vargas and Atticus Benjamin Vargas. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, numerous friends and extended family.
Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Colby-Sawyer College Scholarship Fund, Attn: Beth Camp, Director of Development, 541 Main Street, New London, NH 03257 or to the Edward P.
