He was predeceased by: his son James W. Asselin, Sr.; his parents, William J. Asselin Sr. and Evelyn Roy Asselin; his in-laws, Patrick J. Keough and Marion Shea Keough; his siblings, Irene A. Brackman and William J. Asselin Jr.; and his sister-in-law Lela K. Negri.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Keough Asselin of Bennington, VT; his daughter-in-law Ann; his children, Raymond B. Asselin Jr. (Robin), Joseph T. Asselin Sr. (late Melinda) and Maria Serrazina (late Jack); his grandchildren, Timothy Asselin (Sara), Elizabeth Mullin (John), James Jr., Joseph Jr., Patrick (Chloe), Cassie (Austin), Daniel Asselin, Alexander Serrazina, Nikolas Serrazina (Molly), Janet and Jacqueline Asselin; his great grandchildren, Ella, Brody, Nina, Arthur, Kent and Emma; and his sister-in-law JoAnn (Asselin). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
