Richard Pieczarka Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Pieczarka of Springfield, Massachusetts, born in Ludlow, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 4, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Pieczarka and Yvonne Pieczarka (Duquette); and his siblings, Robert, David, Walter Pieczarka, Jr. and Sally Ann Fuller.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Pieczarka (Gallagher); his sons, Aaron Pieczarka of Springfield and Anthony Pieczarka of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Nadia Pieczarka, Jayde Breen and Andrew Pieczarka; and his brother Thomas Pieczarka of Indian Orchard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for the Benedictine monks and the sisters of St. Scholastica Priory.
