He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Derose and Angela Derose (Nowicki); his son William; and his brothers, Giovanni, Michael and Francis.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Salvaterra); his children, Debra Monday (Shonn), Vincent (Lisa) and Robert, Jr. (Tammi); his grandchildren, Andrea, Cristina, Kyle, Daniella, Vincent, Jr., Angelina, Michael, Amanda and Jazelle; and his great grandchildren, Tatiana, Lucas, Marli, Jocelyn, Gianni and Lorenzo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Church, 123 William St., Springfield, MA 01105.
