She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Soter and Flora Soter (Andry); and her sister Marianne Soter. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Maki of Springfield; her sons, Nicholas Maki (Kathryn) of Darien and Alexander Maki (Nicole) of Boston, Massachusetts; and her grandchildren, Emily, Jessica and Lukas. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers please make donations either to the American Cancer Society noting funds be directed to Western Mass local chapters or Baystate Health Foundation noting donations are to be earmarked for Bereavement Programs.
