It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth (Waldman) Shecrallah (Springfield, Massachusetts), born in Springfield, Ontario, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Isidor Waldman and Esther Kowarsky (Ackerman); her husband John Shecrallah; her granddaughters, Jhanna Gurau and Shelby Allyn Shecrallah; her siblings, David, Martha and Shirley; and her sister-in-law Sally Roberts.

She is survived by : her children, Donna Shecrallah-Mack (George) of Scituate, MA, John Shecrallah (Doris Beauregard-Shecrallah) of Wilbraham, Mark Shecrallah (Kathy Greenwell) of South Carolina, Anne Kandilis (Charles) of Springfield, Neil Shecrallah (Diane) of Florida and Laurie Shecrallah-Gurau (Steven) of Agawam; her grandchildren, Katie Mack (Ky), Diana Mack (Phil), Eric Beauregard (Kristina), Chantal Angelica (Rick), Daniel Shecrallah, Steven Shecrallah (Sarah), Nick Gurau (Megan), Stephanie Gurau, Jordan Gurau and Lauren Gurau; her great grandchildren, Logan, Caden, Anthony, Evan, Saylor, Ashlynn and Elijah; and her caregivers, Roxana, Glorybeth, Neffy, Isabel, Diane and Lori-Ann. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, numerous friends.

In lieu of flowers, her family requests that memorial donations be made in Ruth's memory to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or to Saint Anthony Maronite Catholic Church, 375 Island Pond Road, Springfield, MA 01118.
