She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Willis and Essie Mae Willis (Jackson); her sons, Clifford Ware and Gossan Thaxton; and her siblings, Willie Willis, Julius Willis and Mabel Crawford.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Floyd Willis, Anthony Bunns, Butch Finch, Janis Gilbert and Gwen Caulton; her sister-in-law Jessie Ruth Willis; and her adoptive daughter Nancy Cintron.
