She was predeceased by: her parents, Olive Frost and Harold Frost; her husband David "Stub" Short; and her son-in-law Christopher Russell. She is survived by: her children, Marcy Short (Sara Moore), Greg Short and Jennifer Short; her grandchildren, Sara Gauthier (Jose Rodriguez), Laol Short (Jacob Kelton), Kali Gauthier (Noah Wilkins), Jacob Short and Marcus Short; and her great grandchildren, Elias and Asher.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Putney Volunteer Firefighter Association , P.O. Box 315, Putney, VT 05346, or to Post 5 Baseball Mail to Eric Libardoni 120 Hinsburg RD Brattleboro VT 05301, both organizations that were meaningful to Sharon.
