He is survived by: his children, Nikia Bray of Springfield, MA, Jason Thomas (Shacarra Mimms) of Guatamala and Jonathan Matta of Springfield; his grandchildren, Kaila Bray of Chicago, IL, Amir Stratton of Springfield, Dasan Stratton of Springfield, Jahara of Guatamala, Nyriq of North Carolina, Jason of North Carolina, Jace of North Carolina and Jaiel of North Carolina; his siblings, Brian Thomas (Shawna Motley) of Springfield, Tracey Thomas of Springfield and Moyah Smith of Chicopee, MA; and his stepbrothers, Troy Norrington (Kim) of Springfield and Robin Sanchez (Miguel) of Springfield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Portuguese American Club (149 Exchange St, Chicopee, MA 01013).
