He was predeceased by: his parents, Golden T. and Lucille; his siblings, Leroy, Della, Alberta, Erra, Liz and Alice; his former wife Dorothy Mae; and his sons, Lester, Chester, Larry, Tony Curtis and Seth McKinnie.
He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Mocks of Massachusetts; his wife Betty McKinney; his stepdaughters, Teresa of Florida, Debbie of Florida, Patricia of Florida, Juanita Finney (Alfred) of Florida, Barbara Mallory (David) of Michigan, Marta Reyes (Miguel) of Massachusetts and Helen Colture (George) of Georgia; and his sons, Kenny Mocks of Massachusetts, Alvin McKinnie, Anthony McKinnie (Teresa) and Albert C. McKinnie Jr. (Sharita Malone) of Florida. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren and friends.
A wake will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Harrell Funeral Home (355 St James Ave, Springfield, MA 01109). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tommy's loving memory to Springfield Church of God in Christ in Chicopee or Freedom House of God Incorporated in Springfield.
