It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Traynham Leon G Jr. of Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon G. Traynham, Sr. and Kathleen Traynham (Council); and his son Leon Gilmer Traynham, III. He is survived by: his sisters, Andrea Davis (Sherman) of Springfield and Beatrice Wilson (Ronald) of Methuen, MA; his granddaughter Kailyn Marie Traynham; his nephews, P. Floyd Moran (Jessica), Kameron Wilson and Travon McGowan; his niece Phynetta Moran; the mother of his child T. Simone Stancil; his close friends, Richard, Sharon James, Leon and Monica Clark; and his siblings, Leon, Monica and Delores Rodgers of Alabama. He is also survived by three great-nieces and two great-nephews.
