He is survived by: his son Quincy Hughey; his sisters, Nelie Barron and Theresa Holmes; his close friend Jannie Bynum; and his stepchildren, Ivy Bynum, Ronald Bynum Jr. and A'tala Bynum. He is also survived by thirteen step-grandchildren.
