He was predeceased by : his parents, Everett F. Cox and Annie J. Cox (McNamara); his wife Beverly D. Cox (Laukaitis); his grandson Ryan R. Rollend; and his sisters, Kathleen Dwinell (Robert) and Frances Zorn.

He is survived by : his children, Sheila A. Rollend of South Hadley and Kevin J. Cox of Westfield; his granddaughter Jessica M. Rollend of South Hadley; his brother Everett Cox (Adrienne Ricci) of Maine; and his sister-in-law Nancy Brosnan of Worcester. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (395 Chestnut St, Springfield, MA 01104).

In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Sacred Heart Church Renovation Fund, 395 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
