Walter leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Walter’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Walter will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Klimkowicz and Mary Klimkowicz (Daborowski); and his wife Rosemary Klimkowicz (Genga). He is survived by: his son Eric Klimkowicz of Springfield. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services (15 Ludlow Ave, Springfield, MA 01151). A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at the St. Stanislaus Cemetery (800 Montgomery St, Chicopee, MA 01013).
