William Borecki Obituary
We announce the death of William Borecki (Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 82. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Borecki and Marcella Borecki (Lomme); and his sisters, Marcella Brown and Ann Martin. He is survived by: his wife Gloria E. Arbelaez-Borecki; his children, Jamie and Lara Borecki (Luke Kominski); his grandchildren, Lainie, Lucia, Baylen, Boden and Haley; the mother of his children Cheryl Thibeault; and his siblings, Anthony Borecki (Carol), Michael Borecki (Cristina), Judy Fontana (Richard) and Ellen Trovato (Jimmy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Forastiere Funeral & Cremation (985 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM, at 11:30 AM and at 1:00 PM.
Memorial contributions in Billy's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
