He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Murphy, Sr. and Marguerite V. Murphy (Moriarty). He is survived by: his sisters, Maureen Murphy Dion (Robert Dion) of South Hero, VT, Bobbie Murphy Frydryk (Mark Frydryk) of Ludlow and Martha Murphy Kane of Northampton; his nieces and nephews, Shauna Palin, Lindsay Frydryk Fernald (Jeremy Fernald), Andrew Frydryk, Brittney Kane (Sawyer Kane), Devan Kane and Aidan Kane; his great-niece Emma Grace Palin; and his aunt Mary Daly Murphy of Springfield, VA. He is also survived by cousins, extended family members and friends.
His family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Foundation for TJO Animals, 66 Industry Avenue, Suite 3, Springfield, MA 01104.
