He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Hayward Sr. and Mary L. Eggleston (Cardaropoli); his wife Colleen T. Hayward (O'Neil); his son-in-law Stephen Langieri; his brothers, Michael Hayward and Leonard Hayward; and his sister-in-law Doris Hayward (Gonthier).
He is survived by: his children, Courtney A. Langieri of Longmeadow, Rebecca L. Hayward of Springfield and Justin W. Hayward (Christine) of Pittsfield, NH; his grandchildren, Michael, Lea Langieri, Callie and Aria Holmes; his siblings, Christina M. Stewart (Richard) of Southwick and Ernest J. Hayward, Sr. (Peggy) of Ludlow; and his siblings' children, Anthony Hayward, Nicole Hayward, Ernie Hayward, Jr. and Tammy Hayward. He is also survived by other nephews, nieces, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chapel of the Acres (21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129).
