William J. LaPorte Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J. LaPorte of Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlando LaPorte (Joe) and Shirley LaPorte (Boyce). He is survived by: his wife Patricia LaPorte; his children, Samantha LaPorte, William LaPorte Jr. (Janeen LaPorte), Rose Gallant and Roxanne Cody; his grandchildren, Cameron, Xavier, Sophia, London, William and Emma; and his siblings, Cheryl Hausrath, Joanne DiCarlo, Elizabeth Kenney, Susan LaPorte, John LaPorte and David LaPorte. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the John Boyle O'Reilly Club (33 Progress Ave, Springfield, MA 01104).
